Parents are the first and the best teacher for life. The child psychology explains that nurturing plays an important role in a child development. And parents are the best nurturers. The first step is to send a child to SKY.

This is your child’s first real step to independence.

SKY offers many benefits. It can be a great place for kids to interact with peers and learn valuable life lesson such as how to share, take turns and follow rules. It can also prepare them for Kindergarten and beyond.

The first day at school can be tough for children and parents, but with a little preparation it’ll be easier to cope.

We understand sending child to pre-school does come with its fair share of emotions for both the parent and the child. For a kid, entering a new pre-school environment filled with unfamiliar teachers and kids can cause both anxiety and anticipation. Parents might have mixed emotions about whether their child is ready for pre-school.

It is necessary to remember that the more comfortable you are about your decision, the fewer problems you and your little one will encounter.

When you enter the classroom on the first day, calmly reintroduce the teacher to your child, then step back to allow the teacher to begin forming a relationship with your child.

Suggestions for leaving kids at pre-school are simple but can be hard on a parent. Always say a loving goodbye, but once you do, you should leave promptly. Whatever your child’s reaction to school, remember that the teachers will have seen it all before. School is familiar with children who are worried in their first few weeks. We, SKY, have a system to help children adjust.

Help your child with habits outside the classroom:

  1. It’s useful to let your child know what’s coming by talking to them about it. That will reduce their anxiety.
  2. The child has to be loo and/ or potty trained.
  3. Basic self-care skills,
    • hand washing,
    • nose wiping
    • zipping a bag pack
    • covering his mouth when coughing and sneezing
  4. Identifying his/her personal things.
  1. Preparing child emotionally to come to school.
  2. To listen and to express.
  3. Teach his/her full name, parents’ names, street name, contact number.

An expedition at SKY

Your child’s first years of school are filled with many wondrous moments that has tremendous social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. The skills learned are sounds the letter A or adding 2+2=4 may seem simple but they will set your child up for a lifetime of learning. SKY look like all fun and games (music, story time, dancing, art etc.) but there’s an intense amount of Brain Work. Building blocks and train tracks aren’t just entertaining they’re teaching Problem Solving and Physics. Time in SKY is developing good learning habits, moral values imparted through “Gurukula System”.

They learn it’s “OK” if they make a mistake and learn to feel proud of themselves. Allow children to fall down and make mistakes and feel that its OKAY. They move on and learn from it for the next time.

Akansha was a very shy girl when joined SKY preschool . Within months we started seeing major difference in her. Her communication and also improved a lot. We are happy today, that we made right decision for my lovely daughter by putting her in SKY preschool.

Priya Mathur

Ryan  has improved a lot in fine motor activities. Initially to make him sit at one place was a real challenge for me.  The teachers were very good and quite experienced. I am happy with their service.

Jenny

Their day care program is very good, especially the evening  hobby activities. Both of my children ( Joshika & Parul) just love the place. Keep the good work going.
